Hey there, crafty friends! Have you seem
the latest Photo Play Paper collection Boys Rule? It's so cute and bright and fun, and since I'm a
big fan of bold, primary colors, I just loved using these products. These happy
colors in the papers went great with these photos of my nephews. Love how they
match their brightly colored shirts, as well as the yellow mustard on their
corn dogs!
To assemble the background on
this page, I cut the patterned papers from the collection down into strips
and arranged them on white cardstock. Once I stuck them down and added a little
machine stitching across them, this page came together super fast.
I added a couple of border stickers from
the Boys Rule Element Stickers near the bottom of the page
where the paper strips ended, and I nestled a title and a word and phrase
from the collection's cut-apart sheet into the blank spots
in the background pattern.
After I adhered my photos, I finished off
the layout with a few more stickers from Boys Rule, some older chipboard bits
from my stash, and some precious leftover embellishments I still have
from Crate Paper's Cool Kid line. If you still have some
Cool Kid products in your stash (or want to buy some of what's left of it in
the Paper Issues shop), the Boys Rule collection matches
it perfectly.
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll see you in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Group!
