Hidden Journaling

Hi friends! Wendy here today to inspire and share a layout featuring some hidden journaling. I'll be the first one to tell you that I am not eloquent and I don't have a way with words. Luckily, there are some funny and inspiring things out there on the internet available to us. I recently stumbled across a list titled "Rules for my Son." As a mom of two boys, I had to copy the list. But the list was a bit long to write out and display. What better way to include it and still have my photo be the focus of the page than hidden journaling.

As you can see, I typed out my journaling and cut them down to 2.75 x 3.75 cards. I also picked out the Pinkfresh Boys Fort collection I wanted to use.

Next I grabbed a piece of cream cardstock and cut that to 12 x 4. I then used my score board and scored every three inches. Then I folded that accordion style. After that I adhered the typed cards to my folded cardstock and embellished the bottom page a bit. Then I started my normal process of completing my layout.

What I really like about using this style of hidden journaling is that when the page is taken out of the album, you can view it entirely by unfolding it.

I hope I've inspired you to create and journal. If you are in need of retail therapy, go shopping at the Paper Issues store.
