Hi friends! It's Rachel here and I'm back with another layout using Shimelle's Glitter Girl collection! Did you miss last week's layout? Check it out here! This collection is so bright and fun and really very versatile! I've used it to document my son's piano recital, family selfie, day at the park, and now our visit to the state fair this summer!
My inspiration came from two things! First, my son loved this slide at the Missiouri State Fair and he rode it over and over again! When I saw the bright colors on the slide, I immediately thought of this collection. Of course, I had to use it! Secondly, I was inspired by the squares on the For The Win 12x12" paper. I cut out my favorite 2" squares from the paper and came up with a grid design.
I took multiple photos of him sliding down and wanted to incorporate four of them in my grid design. From there, I added the 2" squares, ephemera and stickers.
My favorite embellishments are the Shaker Stickers. They are puffy and have little stars inside of them! So cute! Also inside the ephemera pack are a few holographic pieces which add a fun twist! And of course, no layout is complete without a free cut file. I needed to fill one more spot so I used the Thick Paint Alpha to cut out the word LOVE for the bottom of the grid.
Do you love grid designs like I do? If you haven't tried one before I hope I've inspired you to try one. If Shimelle's Glitter Girl caught your eye find it here in the Paper Issues store. Then save 20% with code RACHEL. XOXO!
LOVE grid.
