Going in Circles for Try It Tuesday!

Hi Paper Issues Friends & Fans!

Amanda here for another super fun and kinda messy, Try It Tuesday!
I just love how much you are all embracing this challenge and giving it a good ole fashioned go!
So without further ado,
I'm spinning you right round, as we go in circles for September!

Use any mediums to create circles on your project!
Here's a few ideas to get you started....

Suggested Ideas:

*print circles from jar lids, & paper rolls that have been dipped in paint/ink
*use a stencil
*use the FREE Wonky Circle Burst cut file as a template
*stamp small circles with pencil eraser tips in your ink pads
*spray mists inside circular tubes (or paper rolls)
*print with bubble wrap
*draw circles in pen
*add droplets to create circles

The possibilites are endless, just make sure you have fun!!!

Here's what I have created this month,

"Celebrate Today"

Isn't this pretty?!!
So many gorgeous elements and details here!
I have used Maggie Homes' Carousel collection, and even used that polka dot paper, Kaleidoscope, to enhance the circles look!
I've used texture paste on a circles and dots stencil, and then added splats and drips from an ink bottle, as well as printed a circle or 2 from a container lid too!
(You can read more about my mixed media process & products used on my blog here
You'll also spy those pretty (circle) button embellishments, from the Ephemera Die Cuts pack in this collection too!
And lots of luscious layering beneath my photograph!
Here's a few close ups for you.....

Circles never looked so pretty!

Printed dot delight here!

Mint, pink, black & white are such a beautiful combination!

There's even dotty goodness on that chipboard bow!
Divine!

Hope I've inspired you to get messy and enjoy some circular fun this month!
But before you play along, see what our incredible team has created for this challenge too!

*Remember: Clicking on a Designer's name will take you to their blog/instagram account for more details and pics of their project*

First up is this golden delight from Rachel! She has also used the Carousel collection, and created that stunning gold circle background by dipping and printing a lid in metallic gold paint. Awesome!

Next is Wendy with this super cool masculine page!
Don't you just love her white bubble wrap print? It looks incredible! She also added some larger circles with a spray can lid.

Damaris has used traditional stamps for her fresh and fabulous page!
I spy the gorgeous Lawn Fawn ink cubes here - love this contemporary design!

Cassie has cleverly stamped the lid to her sequin jar into her ink pad for this cool result! I  LOVE when she gets time to glue - and you can see why!!! She's a master of mixing up collections!

Our awesome Ann is sharing this pretty page!
She has used Crate Paper's Cute Girl line, and rocked it with her punched and painted circles! Stunning!

Stacie  is embracing the season with this divine number! She's also used the Carousel collection, and created her 'coffee rings' with printing a cup dipped in tan mist! So incredibly effective!

And last, but by no means least, Devra is rocking the circles challenge with this fun stamped design! Loving all the Pinkfresh Studio Boys Fort collection here! So awesome!!!

Wow!!!

  2. Love all the circles! Noticing a trend that circles seem to look best either clustered in the center or on a diagonal line! I love both looks!
