Love This Guy - Cat Martin

Hey all my dapper scrappers out there, it's Cat and I'm back with my first blog post for the month of August! August is a sunny warm month filled with lots of summer adventures and perfect photo opportunities, so why aren't I showing you one?  Well August is also my wedding anniversary ( and I bet many of yours out there as well!)  and so I decided I wanted to focus on some love and relationship inspired layouts!  

For my first one here I am exclusively using the new Carousel collection by Maggie Holmes.  I know that seems a bit weird for someone like me who loves to mix and match patterns and collections but I am seriously loving this new collection.  I am so digging the colours, patterns and icons of it and while I'm sure everyone's immediate thought is to use it for girly layouts I think it can transition well into any sort of layout!  The pops of black just give it a fun graphic feel to counter balance the soft pastels and vintage images!
