So this time around I chose to dig out my Christmas and winter supplies. I know for myself I tend to scrap the season, so when it's summer I always want to scrap either my current summer photos or previous summer photos. This of course means that I neglect my photos from other seasons and holidays until I am actually in that season. Well with the awesome new winter and Christmas collections coming out I wanted to dig into some of my previous products that I had purchased from Paper Issues.
With all that being said, welcome to my Scrappy Christmas in July. I have 2 blog posts for this month and both will be using a separate collection plus some extras thrown in here and there. For my first entry I choose to go with the Snow & Cocoa collection as my jumping off point since the picture I was scrapping was more about the winter season than any holidays. I combined it with some older Pinkfresh Studio products that I also had. Even though Snow & Cocoa was a bit more on the vintage and cream side and the Pinkfresh Studio was very stark white I combined them in such a way that it all gelled together! I used my circle punches to add some patterns and interest to the background since I didn't want to have a ton of layers underneath the photo, considering how busy the background paper was! And here you go with the final product!
Of course it wouldn't be a blog post from me without a process video to go along with it!
Cute!
