Hello! Happy Free File Friday! I hope you have had a chance to check out the Paper Issues store and the new collections that have hit the store this past week. New product lines bring new cut files for you to download and put to use! The FFF challenge is to document your travel adventures using a PI cut file. Here are just a few cut files to inspire your travel (or staycation) adventures from summer or anytime of year!
For my take on a travel adventure, I used the butterfly cut file as a stencil with paint to get a patterned yellow background. This helped to build up the layers documenting my trip to Waco to see Magnolia Market and the Seed Supply gardens. I used Simple Stories Summer Days and added two cut file arrows from the Magical cut file set.
Amanda went with Echo Park Summer Fun and the cutest mega sized I {heart} summer vacation background title cut file. I love the little bits scattered throughout the design documenting her too cool and cute son. This is a great technique to ungroup the cut file and place it where you want in on your design canvas in the Silhouette Studio (or your cutting system). This allows you to back the design with patterned papers and use the cut file as your background.
Anna rocked the All Who Wander quote title cut right into the patterned paper. Plus, check out the adventure vibes with the map background paper and her adorable photo on the trail. How about the coolest stitched photo mat paper layers?! The Fancy Pants Dream Big collection really is pretty with travel pages!
Rachel went outdoorsy and rustic for her travels. The Simple Stories Cabin Fever collection paired with the leaves are falling background cut file were the perfect team for this outdoor layout. The added stitched border and stitching on the leaves adds such great texture on top of the log cabin paper. I love the fall season feel that Rachel brought to our design team round up today!
Thanks for stopping by the Paper Issues blog today. We sure hope you'll fire up your cutting machines today and join us in documenting a travel adventure--from far away or close to home.
Anything goes as long as you are using a PI cut file to help tell your story in your design.
