It's time for the June Scrap Soup challenge!! If you're new to Scrap Soup, the rules are simple, each month I will give you a "recipe" to follow. You can make the recipe your own by adding more "ingredients" but you must use everything listed in the original recipe.
Here is this month's Scrap Soup recipe...
For my layout, I started by cutting circles (more than 5!) with various sized paper punches, making sure to use at least 4 different patterned papers. Next came my two photos, and then the sequins, XO and crown for embellishments. To complete my layout, I added the chipboard title.
Scrap Soup is such a quick and easy way to put together a layout, just check off each item as you go down the list!
Kelly used all the same size circles to highlight her photos from the Billy Idol concert. I'm really liking the dark background with the pops of color. I just might have to scraplift this one!
Amanda's layout uses one of the five circles as a photo holder! How clever is that! This fantastic layout is made from Echo Park's Summer Dreams collection.
There are circles a plenty on Cat's layout about a trip to the Happy Potter. I love the mix of circles and stripes on this one! So very cute, Cat!
We even have a Pocket Page layout for Scrap Soup! Kristie still used all of the required ingredients, including the 5 circles, and definitely a lot more than the required 2 photos. Love this!
And finally, from Anna a layout about her daughter's 6th birthday using Crate Paper Oasis and puffy stickers from Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection. Notice the date on the layout, yep, she's already scrapping photos from this past Saturday!!
Was this enough to get you inspired for Scrap Soup?
We sure hope you'll join in on the challenge, you have until July 2nd to add your project to the Scrap Soup June Challenge Album over in our Paper Issues {friends & fans} Facebook group.
You could win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store!!

So fun. Love seeing all the circles and how everyone incorporates them so differently.
