I was at the lake working on my layout and went with the whitecaps in the lake background to document last summer's adventures. I used Amy Tangerine's On A Whim paper, watercolor resist tag, and chipboard stickers. A few stickers from Bella Blvd Secrets of the Sea and Pebbles Sunshiny Day. It was fun to use the new We R Stitch Happy sewing machine for my waves scattered in the openings.
Don't be afraid to mix up collections and companies to find little bits and pieces that help tell your story! I attached the smile script word from the Magical cut file set to add another wavy layer!
Kelly joined this round up with the NSD free file "Awesome" for her hiking layout. I love how she used the new Photo Play Paper Campfire collection for this outdoorsy design. The earthy colors are just perfect for a hiking adventure!
Amanda brings the summer brights with the fun Echo Park Summer Fun and the NSD cut file pineapple and the tropical orchid cut file. Her sweet girl is wearing a matching shirt and the cut files look fantastic layered with this collection!
Rachel joins us with the geometric palm tree and the sunburst background. The sweet photo looks perfect with these summery cut files. Bella Blvd Pandas and Popsicles works so well with all the summer vibes. Layering cut files with lots of white space is such a stunning design idea!
Lisa rocked the butterfly wreath and all of the Simple Stories Hello Lovely mini collection. The lovely little bits and stickers that Lisa added to the wreath and her layers around her daughter's photo are perfect.
Anna created with the lovely florals and #title words I love when she mixes multiple cut files! She used the new Pink Paislee Summer Lights and it is ombre perfection! Simple and beautiful effect!
Devra closes out our summer cut file round up. I love how she used the geo palm trees and added hand stitching around them. It truly looks like string art perfection! Isn't Summer Lights by Pink Paislee amazing peeking out of this fun cut file?! It is absolutely the cutest with the tropical photo.
