Fabricate It With Try It Tuesday!

Hi Paper Issues Friends & Fans!

Thankyou so much for embracing this new risk taking challenge!
I just loved all your entries for May!
Sooooo many super cool layouts!
Who would've thought that adding water could be so effective!
This month we're trying something completely different again!

*Remember this challenge is all about having a go and trying new things*

This month's task is to add fabric to your creations!
Textiles are a fabulous medium to use in our projects, and can include items such as,
lace, ribbon, pom poms, tulle, fabric squares, cotton/thread, sewing, weaving, buttons and bows to name a few!
Be as creative as you like!

Here's what I've created for this month's Try It Tuesday....

"Living the Life..."

Isn't this the sweetest?!! Soooooooo pretty!
You'll spy milliner's lace, bakers twine, pom pom trim, buttons and a ribbon for my fabric elements, as well as the gorgeous Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection.
Here's a closer look for you.....

Loving the accents of gold foil chipboard stickers & the fabric touches really add dimension and texture to my sweet page!
How awesome is that milliner's lace (hat tulle)?!!

I love the look of this so much!

Ribbon and baker's twine are easy to add to any creation!

I hope you liked my project, and will give this fun challenge a go!
Before you get started, see what a few of our talented Design Team have created.....

First up is Lisa with this stunning birthday card!
She has used the fun & bright Joy Parade collection from Fancy Pants Designs, and combined it with a ribbon bow - so super cute! You can see why Lisa is truly our Queen of Cards!

Next is Anna with this striking layout - just gorgeous!
Love how she has used a free cut file from the Paper Issues store for those sunbeams!!! Her fabric elements include cheese cloth, ribbon and cotton thread. Beautiful creating!

And last, but by no means least, Cat shares this divine layout of her sweet cherub!
She has used a gorgeous mix of Maggie Holmes collections, and combined them with tulle, a fabric flower and baker's twine. So very pretty!!!

And there you have it!
So many fun ways to try using fabric in your creating!

Did you know Paper Issues even has a ribbon, twine & trim section in the store?
