Free File Friday: Florals

Welcome to our first Free File Friday!

Happy cinco de mayo, almost interNational Scrapbook Day, and it's Friday!  

There are so many things to celebrate.

April showers bring us May flowers and today we are showing you some of the floral cut files that are free in the store! Here are just a few to check out in the free files section of the Paper Issues store:

These are just 9 of the free cut files in the PI shop that have flowers in them.  There are many more, so go check them out and download your free files.  As always, if you need to convert the cut files for machines other than Silhouette, check out the tutorial here.

Let's get started on our floral tour:

I grabbed the Rhapsody cut file and used the cut file floral spray in the corners of this wreath full of  fussy cut Oasis Getaway floral print.  I used the leftover scraps to paper piece the cut files.  You can see more details on my blog on how this layout came together.

Paper piecing a cut file is perfect for using up scraps or using up 6x6 papers.

I cut out the Rhapsody floral cut file in pale pink cardstock to show a variation of using cut files cut out of something other than the usual go-to...white cardstock!

Amanda totally makes this lovely floral heart just pop with the aqua mixed media and gorgeous paper piecing.  I love how the beautiful floral Bella Blvd Make Your Mark  floral paper looks fussy cut and layered with the floral heart cut file.

Anna created this amazing card with Simple Stories Faith collection. Such a lucky person to get this gorgeous card in the mail!!  I love how the Rhapsody floral cut file looks coming off the edge of the Shine striped paper!  I can't wait to try this idea!
