Love Cards

Hi PI friends! It's Elodie on the blog today with a set of cards that I made with the gorgeous November and February swag bags as well as the super pretty Sweet Nothings collection by Fancy Pants. I played along with the April Roll The Dice challenge and, this month, Rachel asks us to create a project featuring two tags and six stickers. I decided to make cards and I used one tag and three stickers on each card.

My favorite technique to create the base for my cards is to fold a 6x6 paper in half. So easy and handy! Here, I used the Sweet Nothings 6x6 paper pad. I then layered pretty papers from the February swag bag on the top of each card. I cut out tags from other cute papers from the February bag and placed them on top of my paper layers, along with doilies from my stash.

For the sentiment, I used die cuts from the Sweet Nothings ephemera pack and adhered them with foam squares to make them pop. I then got busy embellishing and added cute donut stickers, pretty paper clips and puffy hearts from the February swag bag, a glittery heart sticker and sequins from the November bag, more die cuts from the Sweet Nothings ephemera pack and twine from my stash.

I love making cards and sending them to my family and loved ones! I hope they inspire you to make your own cards and play with the Paper Issues swag bags! The Sweet Nothings collection is also perfect for card making with its mail-related icons and sentiments. You can find it in the Paper Issues store, along with the new Family & Co line by Fancy Pants, and save 20% on your order with the code Elodie. And I hope you can join us in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group to play along with the fun Roll The Dice challenge!

Thank you so much for stopping by the PI blog today! Have a wonderful day!
