Hi everyone! It's Elodie on the blog today with a page using the new Little by Little collection by Shimelle & American Crafts and a photo of my youngest daughter on her way to the beach last summer. I am so looking forward to warm and sunny days! Good thing spring is almost here! I played along with this month's Take 5 Tuesday challenge and I used stickers, patterned paper, flowers, stripes and a title with 3 words.
I started by placing branding strips and bits of washi tape on the colorful background paper, just like sunbeams. I matted the pic with 6x6 papers and adhered it in the center with foam squares.
I then got busy embellishing my page with cute die cuts and stickers, a wood button, enamel dots from my stash and fussy cut flowers from the beautiful Cultivate Joy paper. I just can't resist pretty florals!
I finished off my page by adding the title at the bottom using thickers, a die cut from the ephemera pack and the word 'sweet' that I cut out from a 6x6 paper.
This is such a bright and happy collection! I love its pretty colors and cute patterns. You can find it in the Paper Issues store and save 20% on your order with the code Elodie. And join us in the Paper Issues Facebook group to share your Take 5 Tuesday projects!
Here is the March list. Can't wait to see what you make!
