Welcome back to another month of Cut It Up at Paper Issues. We are excited to see you get all starry eyed this month! Find the title- Count Your Lucky Stars and the background file all in the same download for free in the Paper Issues free files.
So how can you use them? Let's check out what the design team created this month!
My sleepy toddler picture calls for a nighttime sky mixed media effect in the background before layering the cut file. I cut apart the background file to create two triangles. Shimelle's new Little By Little collection Carousel patterned paper worked with the star vibe and the foam Thickers included stars which were perfect for my title. Check out more details on my (Stacie) blog.
Renee created the coolest white on white effect with pops of color to coordinate with her Amy Tangerine On A Whim ephemera and Bella Blvd Oh My Stars paper! This colorful page is so perfect for a burst of spring fun!
Rachel also rocked Amy Tangerine On A Whim for her cutie at the park! Check out her added stitching around some of the stars, it's so pretty. I love layers of patterned papers and colors popping through the stars!
Pol created this rainbow stunner with Shimelle's Little By Little Bear Hug striped paper. It makes the stars pop against the white cardstock. The foam star Thickers and ephemera make fun colorful layers for this birthday themed layout!
Ali cut the stars in black cardstock and added spectacular stitching around them in white to add dimension and focus to her cut out stars with Shimelle papers. Look at those itty-bitty stars in the shaker star openings--so cool for her layout about her star reader son!
Annelie wows with the awesome use of Fancy Pants Sweet Nothings. The colors just captivated me and the layering is amazing. I love the look of the Fancy Pants paper clip and it draws you in to the photo. Just look at her stitching and how awesome it looks with just parts of the cut file peeking out in her layers. This is total dance all-star worthy!
Raechelle has the most adorable pictures of her granddaughter and Shimelle Little by Little is perfect for them! Look closer and check out her genius stitching on the photos and edge of the cut file. Check out how she was able to tuck her cute photos under parts of the stars to make them the star of the show!
Devra is showing off her amazing photo of the Super Moon that wowed us this past year! She paired her glowing moon picture with My Mind's Eye Hey Mister collection. The Hey Mister ephemera and chipboard stickers makes such great layering pieces around her photo.
I also included Lisa in this round up as she used the title cut file in a sweet card for this month's Pinspire Me Mood Board. Don't forget to try cut files on a smaller scale in your cards or pocket page scrapbooking! She made this card just pop with the colors against the black cardstock.
