Leave Her Wild.

Hi Everyone! Renee here with my second post with Paper Issues! So many new collections have came out lately and of course, I had to #haveallthethings. But one of the collections I was excited for was Maggie Holmes' Chasing Dreams.

When I got the collection, I couldn't wait to use the paper with the messy watercolor looking pattern on it. ( Not going to lie, I bought two.) I thought it would be perfect to use to back a cut file from a plain white cardstock.  Now I don't know about you guys, but I'm kind of obsessed with the snapchat filters. I always think this flower crown filter makes me look pretty- I can be as nasty as I want but look like a model.  Anyways, I had this gem saved on my phone and thought of the perfect quote that could work for it!

I typed the quote up on my Silhouette- changing the font for some of the words. I had to flip the paper around a bit behind the quote to be able to get as many as the colors I could to show.  I thought it ended up looking perfect!   I did outline the words though to make them pop a bit more along with the edge of the paper.

The picture I layered as always with other papers from the collection also sticking bits and pieces of the embellishments/stickers in clusters around the edges. I fussy cut out the butterflies from the paper to have them coming out from behind the photo. I thought the bird and butterflies worked so well with the quote as well as the flower snapchat filter.

I just love how this page turned out, I can't get enough of this collection- just worked so well for this "wild" page. Of course, I bought tons of it- you should also- you'll love it even more in person!!
