Cut it Up Saturday - Leaves are falling

Hello PI friends, it's time to Cut it Up! We have a cut file for you this month that goes perfectly with all your Fall pictures. You can download it for FREE overhere in the Paper Issues store.
I'm not really a Fall or Winter fan, I need hot temperatures, but I do enjoy all the pretty colors during Fall season. Last week me and my friend took some pics while throwing leaves around and I used one of these pics on this layout. After cutting this file out of white cardstock, I watercolored the leaves. All papers and embellishments are from the Pink Paislee Memorandum collection.

Here are the projects of the PI girls who are joining me today.

Michelle used the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane collection for her Fall layout. I love how she cut the file out of different patterns and tucked them into the photo cluster.

Mary Ann Jenkins watercolored her leaves in some different gorgeous Fall colors to create this beauty of a layout. She mixed up products from Pink Paislee Cedar Lane, Crate Paper After Dark, Maggie Holmes Shine and Photo Play Autumn Day.

Corri used the cut file along with the Bella Blvd Rover and Camp Out collections to document this picture of her beautiful dog. I love how the cut file looks like to be part of the background paper!

Kathy is showing how this cut file is working on a card too. Along with the Doodlebug Fall Friends collection she created this stunning one. Who wouldn't want to receive a card like this?

Jen made this layout documenting her beautiful family. She cut the file out a little smaller to create a more subtle leave background and I love how some of the leaves are overlapping the pics. She used Pebbles Harvest, Photo Play Autumn Day, a bit of AC DIY Shop 2 and Swag Bag bits.

It's your turn! We can't wait to see what you'll create with this cut file. Link up your projects overhere in our November challenge album on Facebook and you might be our lucky winner of a $10 gift card to the Paper Issues store.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a creative weekend!

  1. These are all phenomenal. I have to try this. Can we use a leaves cut from a circuit cartridge and not the cut file? I'm not that computer savvy to have figured out the cut files and only have the old circut expression.

    1. Barbara, the file is in Silhouette file format which makes it only usable in Silhouette machines, so unfortunately you wouldn't be able to cut it with your Cricut. There are some tricks for getting around it, but it would involve downloading the free Silhouette software, downloading the image and opening it up in the software, changing the line width for the cut lines to 1.0 and then printing out the design which you could then cut out by hand.
Something to think about...I hope this helped.
