Off The Page

Hi Everyone, it's Kathy today with a brand new monthly feature here at Paper Issues... Off The Page.  Each month I'm going to be featuring projects that are not traditional scrapbook pages... everything from Mini albums to gift packaging and home décor...  the possibilities are endless!  I thought that this month, I would try to do something to showcase my #ISpywithPI photos.  What developed is a different and fun mini photo file full of all my favorite summer pictures! It's sort of a cross between a mini album and project life...  Take a peek...

I used a recipe box and inserts cut file that I purchased from the Silhouette store (here) to be the base of my album.  I printed my favorite photos in 2.5" x 2.5" to fit nicely onto the cards.  To keep things simple, I'm sticking to one paper collection, Making Waves from Fancy Pants.  This way everything is coordinated and it simplifies the whole process because I've limited the supplies I'm using. Take a peek at a few of the pages...

And for those of you who would like to see the whole album (so far... it's a work in progress!), I've created a slide show of all the pages...

And now the fun part... I'd love for you to share your work... create a mini album using your #ISpywithPI pictures, or a mini of a vacation, then head over to the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page and add your photo to the comments beneath the picture this project in the August Challenges photo album.  You will be entered to win one of 2 Gift Cards to the Paper Issues store!  Projects must be new to qualify, see the challenges album for details.  You have until September 13th to play along!  Your project may even be featured in a future blog post, on our Facebook Page or the Paper Issues Instagram Account!  I can't wait to see what you create! That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
