let's plan on it with jen

Hi there! Today, I am introducing a new series involving both creativity and the everyday. Each month I will be sharing pages from my own planner and will invite you to play along with a challenge by posting your interpretation and sharing it in our Paper Issues {Friends and Fans} Facebook group. There will be new challenges all month and the more you enter the better your chance of winning one of two Paper Issues Gift Certificates!

Let's get started with Plan On It Challenge #1: Washi Tape.
Washi tape, paper tape, decorative tape. Many names for one super versatile, and often super pretty, supply.

I have used washi tape in a few different ways this week:
  1. defining sections for each day
  2. as tape to tack on a little note (see Tuesday and top of quote on left)
  3. as a to-do list banner
  4. for decoration

The tapes used here were from a Simple Stories pack. I love that there are multiple sheets of each pattern, as well as both wide and thin cuts on each sheet. No fussing with a roll, these little pages of tapes are super easy to store and to use on the go!

I also used a selection of stickers from the Paper Issues shop to decorate this week. Bella Boulevard Trinkets are perfectly planner sized. Pebbles cardstock stickers helped me mark our lake/cabin getaway in the cutest way! And, Project Life cards are awesome for clipping on little notes that need to be moved from week to week.

Be sure to play along and share a photo showing how YOU use Washi Tape on the challenge post in our Facebook Community for a chance to win a Paper Issues Gift Certificate! We will be posting new challenges all through each month that are open to everyone, worldwide. I cannot wait to see your ideas!!

  3. I feel like you & I have very similar planning styles! Not too totally over-the-top sticker crazy, just decorative stickers sprinkled in with our actual planning! Love this so much. Also, that little house sticker is precious.
