Product Spotlight *Crate Paper - Poolside*

With Summer vacation still a few weeks away for me and my family, playing with the new Poolside collection by Crate Paper is the next best thing for now.  Just have a look at the gorgeous summery layouts some of the dt created with the collection and you will see what I mean.

I love the way Meaghan softened the look of the icecream paper by placing vellum over top of it.

And check out the way Devra filled the sun with one of the cardstock pieces from the ephemera pack, genius.

Those chipboard words make the perfect title too.

This photo-centered designs by Jennifer is so eye-catching.  And how amazing is that bow she had made.  I just love the way it looks peeking out from behind the photo.

And notice the way she has used a few tear strips on here.  I love that so many manufacturers are adding these little strips to the bottom of the 12x12 sheets, makes me feel like I'm getting more value for my dollar.

Orange managed to capture the most perfect photograph to coordinate with this collection.  Usually it's the other way around for scrappers.

See that gorgeous glitter "hello"?  It's included in the ephemera package, and same with the acetate "sunshine".

I was so happy to get this collection in the mail the same week as by baby girl's birthday. I knew I was going to have a little photo shoot with her and her friends, and that this collection would compliment the photos nicely.

Whenever a collection has several elements to it, I cannot help myself for layering away to my heart's content, incorporating a little bit of everything.  On my layout I've used the gold glitter vellum, the 6x12 accent sticker pack, several elements from the ephemera pack, included the word "fun", two of the gold metal tab clips, and a couple of wood buttons.
