Good Morning PI peeps! Mary-Ann here sharing my third, yes THIRD, layout using the new October Afternoon's Saturday Morning collection that has been re-stocked HERE in the Paper Issues shop. I fell in love with the color scheme and all of the little bits and pieces that this collection had to offer.
I often find a collection I want to work with, then, dig for a photo! Many people do it the opposite. Share in the comments how you choose, I would love to hear!
Remember the Saturday Sketchy Link Party that is happening at PI? I decided to use it again for this layout. I have said it before, sketches are the perfect inspiration. This time, I turned the sketch on it's side.
I chose to layer several of the cards that came with the collection instead of cutting papers. They were all laying on my desk and fell into place.
Getting these TV shows to line up perfectly was a bit of a trick. Not until NOW did I remember that I have a vintage typewriter that would have done the trick a heck of a lot easier!
See my boys pup? Always together, always touching.
When I asked him his favorite list of TV shows, he rattled a bunch off. Then, skeptically, he asked me why? I told him it was for a layout and he wanted to delete Max & Ruby and Curious George. Oops, I forgot.
Here are the other two layouts I created with the same October Afternoon - Saturday Morning paper collection!
