CT Introduction: Heather Joyce

Hey everyone!

I'm Heather, and so excited to be the newest addition to the Paper Issues team! I've gotten to know the team that makes up the awesome, and while it feels a bit intimidating, I'm jumping in feet first to share all kinds of pocket inspiration. Before we jump into that, let's get to know each other a little better, shall we?

- I'm 28, but'll be 29 in 4 days. (but who is counting?) I live in Austin, Texas with my husband, our two dogs and two cats (we have a roommate with a dog also.. it's quite the bustling zoo at times)

- I started a photo a day project in 2011 but never did anything with them. Earlier this year, I printed out all the images onto 3x4 cards and have been working on 'catching up' in pocket pages.

- I'm a computer nerd. I love board games. I collect typewriters, starbucks mugs, and my favorite albums on vinyl. Organizing scrapbook supplies is one of my favorite activities.

That's enough right? Let's get to the good stuff.  For my first post, I'm bring you a process video using Gossamer Blue's Get Happy Collection. I've been following Allison Pennington's digital designs for five years and to get my hands on elements, stickers, and papers by her, was awesome. I go through the entire process, picking the papers, trimming them down and then sprucing them up.

I just love the way it came together. Every little piece is a part of the story that made the week.
So if you're itching to get your hands on some of these goodies also, why not use a coupon!

Until next time!
