Happy Monday! Toni here today. I don't know about you, but I love Pinterest and am always finding things that I find inspiring and fun. The challenge was to do something with one of these fun pins that I have on my boards. I really like this image, and I think you can interpret it multiple ways.
The link for the pin can be found HERE. It was originally pinned from Better Homes and Gardens HERE.
I was inspired by the ribbons and color. I chose similar colors found in the Maggie Holmes Open Book collection as well as the Wallflower paper from Studio Calico. I used stripes of various patterned papers instead of ribbons, and they were arranged in more of a linear than a haphazard pattern, but I still think it follows this challenge.
I was lucky enough that a few of my fellow Creative Team members also wanted to create something using this pin as inspiration. I love what they all came up with.
Mary-Ann Maldonado shows us a great take on the color scheme using items from Chickaniddy Crafts with an awesome circular motif. I am absolutely in awe of this design.
Sherri Funk also used strips of paper on her layout, but she used them in a completely different way than I did. I love this arrangement and the enchanting photo. She used a variety of manufacturers for this layout, including THIS awesome floral paper by Pebbles. She also added in some fun wood drop enamel stickers by Pinkfresh Studio.
Brenda Smith's layout really does a fantastic job with the triangular theme. I love what she did with this arrangement. She uses papers from Maggie Holmes and some fun wood veneer pieces.
If this pin inspired you, we would love to see your projects. You can share them in our Facebook group and/or post a link in the comments. I can't wait to see what y'all come up with.
