Die Cutting Saturday - Cut File 001

Hello! Today we are sharing our first monthly installment of Die Cutting Saturday. Each month we will be sharing a free Silhouette cut file with a challenge to use it on a project. This month you could win a November Swag Bag! We will announce the winner in 2 weeks here on the blog.

Here is the cut file! You can download it HERE. This is sized to fit on a 12x12 layout, but you could shrink it down and use it on a card or 8.5x11 page, or even cut it apart as some of our creative team did.

Here is my page - I used the On My Desk collection by Gossamer Blue which was perfect for documenting my recent typewriter purchase. I cut the file with yellow patterned paper, then cut an offset piece in white to mat it on because I wanted the circles to stand out.

I am just loving this collection! The bright colors along with the black and gold is perfection.

The rest of the creative team also created some layouts with the file.

Danielle De Konink created this layout with Elle's Studio Sycamore Lane collection. So creative to cut it apart!

Jen Boumis submitted this fall inspired layout. I am loving her circle shaped pictures, just darling! She used the Home + Made collection from Pebbles along with the September Swag Bag.

Corri Garza created this colorful layout with a darling photo of her daughter in first grade. She shrunk the file down and used it to mat her photo. Super creative!

Stephanie Strader shared this layout using the file cut with kraft paper and paired it with masculine colors to show off this photo of her son. I love how she backed the negative spaces with different papers!

Melissa Elsner created this layout using tone on tone with kraft cardstock. The bright colors really set it off! Fabulous page.

Chantal Philippe created this stunning layout using the file as a photo mat. I love the use of white space here!

Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Remember to link up your creation using the cut file by October 31 and you could win a November Swag Bag. Have a great day!
