CT Introduction: Melissa Elsner

Melissa here with my first blog post as part of the Creative Team at Paper Issues.

And. I. Am. Excited.  !!!!!!

Over the years I've been blessed beyond belief with a community of crafty friends but, I sadly watched as store after store began to close. Then, I found this amazing community and online store. It was love at first sight!

Just to share a little more about me: I am a single gal from the pacific northwest, love coffee and wine (way too much), die hard Seahawks fan, I teach pre-kindergarten full time, and am a firm believer in relating my life to every single Friends episode. It is possible, I promise.

I began paper crafting as a card maker. I love making cards! And now I've progressed, over the years, to making layouts. Most of my layouts are my way of journaling my life. I like to call them visual journaling pages. But I do record events and milestones here and there.

I recently acquired some of the fabulous Second City collection by Basic Grey. LOVE the colors and, after living in Chicago for two years, I really felt like I could identify with this collection. (Ha!) But seriously, it is so fun to use.

Other supplies used include pinking chalk tape by Fancy Pants, wood veneers and bling by Studio Calico.
