CT Introduction: Brenda Smith

Hia all!
I'm Brenda, a WAHM to 3 kiddos currently in New Mexico.  In a couple months though I will be moving my  little family to Virginia.
When my son was born in 2004 I discovered paper scrapbooking for the first time.  I made a few books and realized that it was too much work to pull all my stuff out of hiding and try to keep him from eating it so I made the move to digital.  Over the years plus the addition of 2 more children, I
dabbled with the idea of paper scrapping with the discovery of project life.
I started to fall in love with paper, elements and paint all over again so I decided to give it a try once more about 6-8 months ago.  There is no going back for me now.  The feel of the paper, the stickiness of the glue and the touch of the final project just make me feel too happy.  (plus my husband like my paper pages more as well)
When I was accepted to Paper Issues it was a dream come true.  Literally.  I had made myself
a goal to apply for and make one paper team this year.  In all honesty, I am still pinching
myself everyday to make sure I didn't dream it.
As a matter of fact, I have finished 3 projects since starting with PI.  2 of which I am going to show
today.

This one is my favorite.  It is a totally different color combo for me AND I used stitching
again.
(using fancy pants | Nautical paper + Dear Lizzy | Day Dreamer paper + little bits from my stash.)

This second one was one of the fasted pages I have made yet.  The idea came to mind after
my box of goodies came in the mail.  Within an hour it was done.  Sometime inspiration hits
and blows you away.
(using On My Desk | Gramercy Road and some scraps from my stash.)

I hope you have enjoyed this little snippit into my life and a peek into my style of scrapping.

And of course, there is a coupon in it for you.  Take 20% off in the Paper Issues store when you place your order using my code: 3littleks
