Product Spotlight > Simple Stories

It's time for another Product Spotlight here at Paper Issues!  I am joining the Project Life crowd by creating one Project Life album documenting my son's school years.  I thought this would be a great way to capture the yearly school photo, school events, important papers and memorabilia from PreK through his senior year!  What better place to start this project that with the Daily Grind collection from Simple Stories!

There are so many great pieces to the Simple Stories collections, it can be had to choose!  I started off with the Snap Cuts from the Daily Grind collection because they come com in 4x6 and 3x4, perfect sizes for Project Life! These are also awesome because you can see it on both sides of the protector as you can see with the 3x4 green Snap Cut in the center of the page.

Although Project Life won't allow you to get a ton of detention on your pages, I still love the layered look! To help me get this flatter layered look I relied on a few sheet of stickers and die cuts, both the Fundamentals and Expressions sticker sheet and cardstock die cuts Ephemera Bits and Pieces helped me get just the layers look I wanted!

You can't forget to stock up on some coordinating paper to use as filler and backgrounds!  I love that Simple Stories has coordinating 6x6 paper packs for their collections - it's just the right size for this style project!

This is just the start of this project but I can see I am going to love the Simple Stories collections to help complete it!
