I made this layout with the new Color Wash Collection that is full of beautiful soft pastel colors. There are some really unique items to this line, starting with the specialty papers. Several of the papers have shapes pre-cut out of them, such as the one I used here (the stars were already cut). Also check out the Bright and Brilliant papers!
This collection also has some velum accents like the banner pieces I used here. I have to say my favorite part this new collection is the Color Wash Tags!
These tags make me feel like a kid again when I pull out my watercolor paints and start giving the plain white tag a whole new look.
I added a few finishing touches to my layout with some tiny wood veneer stars from Studio Calico and buttons from the new Collecting Moments line by Fancy Pants - this is the only product we have left in the shop from this collection, it sold out fast!
Since the tags are my favorite part I wanted to show you how they can be used on a quick card!
This card was really simple to put together- starting with a white base, one scrap of the Colorful paper from the Color Wash Collection, a doily cut from corrugated cardstock and then the focal point - the tag!
The tag was a little too big for my card so I cut it down to fit and then topped it off with some of our amazing sequins!
