February Sketch #3 | Sarah

Hello and good morning, PI friends! Happy Wednesday! It's me Sarah back on the blog, and today I'm excited to be revealing another one of this month's awesome sketches! 

Without further ado, here's Sketch #3 by Cassie:

Recently, I've been enjoying circular elements on some of these sketches, so this one totally inspired me.

Here's what I created:

I worked with the Sunkissed collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. It's an older collection, but I love the rainbows and floral elements on these papers and stickers.

For my title, I felt like stamping letters. Sometimes, I completely forget that I can't stamp ALL THE THINGS - including letters, hah! I used some Elle's Studios stamps and dies here to create the "Half Marathon" title. 

Speaking of stamping, here's a reminder that you can also use different stamps to embellish your layouts. I love doing this on my projects. It adds so much color and dimension. Below you'll see a handful of random stamps that I have collected (aka hoarded, hah!) over the years:

Pssst, I also want to bring to your attention those awesome acetate stitches by Elle's Studio! In the pack, there's a sheet of black stitches and a sheet of white stitches. I love that they go such a long way. I cut up the stickers, so I'm not using one whole long strip. Doesn't it look great?! I think it looks fantastic because I didn't have to bust out my sewing machine, haha!

So, how'd I do?! I tried to follow the sketch pretty closely, but this is my interpretation of it. I love that with sketches, you can flip it, rotate it, or alter them to how you see fit!
