Good morning, everyone! Wendy here with you to start your week with a new Scraplift Sunday. Today we are lifting one of Stacie's layouts. You can see it by clicking here. Stacie's layout is so detailed and includes mixed media, cut files, journaling, layers, and two photos! Yet, it's still very simple and a quick lift!!
I started this lift with white cardstock and added some mixed media by starting first with Squeezed Lemonade on the top half of my page. I knew the majority of it would be covered, so I just went willy-nilly with it. I stamped a dot stamp in Peacock Feathers on top of that once it dried and added Elle's Everyday Tab stamps on top on that in Kitsch Flamingo. I used a lot of Doodlebug Lots of Love collection on this layout and started with the Sprinkled With Love 12x12 paper. I layered the Hugs and Kisses paper on top of that. Then, on top of that, I layered two strips from the other side of Sprinkled With Love and placed that on the top of my page. I layered my photos with Happy Mail and the coordinating Lots of Love print assortment pack that is sold out. Instead of using cut files like Stacie, I used alphas from my stash and the floral swag banner pieces from the Chit Chat die cuts. I added journaling under my title and popped up another piece of ephemera under that from the die cuts. I added a stitching heart similar to these at the top of the floral banner, stitching stickers from Pretty Little Studio, and Valentine phrase stickers from American Crafts. This was seriously a super fast lift!
Now it's your turn to get creative with this scraplift challenge and I hope you are feeling inspired! I can't wait to see what you come up with! Remember to upload your new creations in the February challenge album album of the Paper Issues Friends and Fan Facebook group. For each new project you enter, you will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a Paper Issues gift card! You could be a winner so what are you waiting for?! Also share your projects on Instagram. Tag @paperissues and use #paperissues so we can see your projects and maybe share them, too.
