What's Rachel Lookin' At?

Hello, my friends!

Today I am excited to share with you my scrapbook layout for the “What are you Looking At?” challenge! For my photo, I picked a picture of a pile of books that are some of the books I read in 2017. Are any of those your favourites? I love to read!

For this layout, I was inspired by a lot of the layouts lately that have had multiple layers of papers angled on the page and full of embellishments. It almost looks like the papers have just been slapped on the page. I love the effortless, messy, yet complete look it gives! Plus, it gives me good reason to use up those 12x12 papers and show them off in an awesome way!

I used that pink library card looking paper from Paige Evans’ “Pick Me Up” collection, along with my favourite floral paper. This was my first layout using this collection, so it was fun to be able to have such a large variety of papers and embellishments to choose from! I even snuck in a few pages from her previous collection "Turn the Page".

If you want to join in on the fun, head over to our Facebook page. And if you're thinking about placing an order in the Paper Issues shop, don't forget to use the code RACHEL20 for 20% off. With all of the new collections out and in the shop, I'm having a blast playing with new and exciting products!

Rachel Tallman
