Spring Has Sprung

Happy Saturday friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! It's a beautiful spring day here in Georgia and I couldn't be more excited for warm weather! Which makes it perfect timing for sharing this layout! I used Crate Paper Good Vibes to create this layout for the Spring Has Sprung challenge at Paper Issues this month!

This challenge is all about spring - think babies, baby animals, flowers, bunnies, Easter celebrations, strawberry picking, Spring Break etc. I was inspired by the gorgeous colors and flowers in this collection!

I love lots of layers and had so much fun fussy cutting these flowers! I started with a floral 12x12" patterned paper and then added a slightly smaller piece of wood grained cardstock on top of it. I love the texture the wood grain adds. Find it here! I cut a large circle in the middle of the teal grid paper and put it on top of the cardstock. Next, I layered all the fussy cut flowers along with some ephemera and sticker flowers to the edge of the circle. In the middle I added a family photo and lots of chipboard.

I hope I've inspired you to play along. Check out the rest of the entries here for more inspiration! Once you've created a layout don't forget to share it with us for a chance to win a Paper Issues gift card !Can't wait to see what you create! XOXO
