Bigger Is Better!

Hi friends! Happiest of Tuesdays to you! Rachel here and today I get to talk to you about the new Bigger is Better challenge. I love our new format in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group! We're mixing up the challenges so that each month there will be a host on new challenges for you to play along with. Also new - all the challenges are released on the 1st of the month so you can see all of them right away and pick & choose which one you want to start with. The Bigger is Better challenge is all about a BIG title on your layout! This could mean big in font size or just big in length! Think large stickers, chipboard, use your cutting machine, etc. Be inspired however you want!

I had some Elle's Studio Family Fun that I needed to use up. I took a piece of white cardstock and cut out several stars all over the page. Then I backed them with different patterned papers from the collection. This was perfect for using up a lot of the scraps I had left over. I hand stitched around the larger stars to add some dimension. Next, I added my two photos along with several layers behind them. My son had just lost another tooth and he was pretty excited to show off his new smile!

His smile was the inspiration for my title. I made my own title with black cardstock and a simple font from my Cricut collection. I typed out my story and cut it into small word strips and added it under my title. I finished the layout with a few extra star stickers and embellishments! I love how the large title really pops and helps fill in some of the white space.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with this challenge! You can see more big title layouts here! Don't forget you have until March 4th to play along for a chance to win a PI gift card. Can't wait to see what you make! XOXO
