Use Your Stash - Part 2

Hello friends! Rachel here and I'm back with another Crate Paper Cool Kid layout just as I promised! Did you see my blog post from last week?! If not, check it out here. I'm making a very concerted effort to use up older scrapbooking lines in anticipation of new lines coming out in the next couple months! So I opened my drawers and decided to start with Crate Paper. I'm happy to announce that with this second layout I have successfully used up almost all of the embellishments I had left.

My last layout was very whimsical and this time I went for something more structured. First, I started with one of the patterned papers and I went ahead and added my two photos diagonal from each other. From there, I added chipboard, tags, stickers and ephemera on the paper and fit them together like a puzzle. I left a space in the middle for my journaling. I love documenting facts about my boys that I know one day I will look back and treasure so much!

The layout was really that simple! So I'm taking the papers I have left from this collection and adding them to the donation box. Then I'll dig through my drawers again and start whittling down another collection! Again, I challenge you not to hoard pretty paper! Get it out, cut it up, and use it! I can't wait to see what you make! When you do create something fabulous don't forget to share it with us in our challenge album in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group for a chance to win a PI gift card! XOXO
