Paper Strips Sorted with Try It Tuesday!

Hi Paper Issues Friends & Fans!

Can you believe it's the last month of the year already?!!
Let's make it a December to Remember with this month's edition of Try It Tuesday!
This month let's use up all those ends of papers, paper strips and even the printed barcode strips of papers to create with!

Suggested Ideas include:

Create a shape such as a star, heart, or snowflake with your paper strips
Stitch your strips together then die cut out a shape or tag
Paper piece a cut file shape with strips
 Create multiple borders or frames
Make a diagonal feature of strips in your background

I'm sure you'll have tons of creative uses for these strips!

I had so much fun creating for this challenge, here's what I came up with,

"JOY"

JOY indeed! Snow much fun!
I've used the gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio: December Days collection for my sweet Christmas page.
I had quite a few off cuts and left over papers from the 6 x 6 Paper Pad to use up from this line.
As I was creating a Christmas layout, I took inspiration from my background patterned paper Ornaments, and decided to create my own paper strip Christmas trees! SO cool!
I just LOVE how effective the paper strip trees look!
Here's a closer look for you.....

To add to the impact, I decorated my trees with sequin stars, Die Cut ornaments, and even popped a few presents (Puffy Stickers) under the trees.

How awesome is that Chipboard Frame too?! Loving it all!
I hope my layout has inspired you to get creating but before you do,
here's some more inspiration from our incredible team.....

First up is Lisa, and she's creating with the super pretty Pebbles: Forever My Always collection
Lisa has cut the barcode strip from the pattern paper, and stitched it onto the base of her page to create a border. SO gorgeous!!!

Next up is Wendy, with this fabulous Elle's Studio: Family Fun layout!
She has cut her left over papers into strips to create that divine feature panel on the right hand side of her page! Just awesome!!!

Next is Rachel, and she's sharing the Joy of the Season with this beautiful Crate Paper: FaLaLa layout. I love how she's used her strips to create her candy cane style background - fabulous!
You'll also spot that fantastic cut file title!
It's called Thankful for Family and you can download it for FREE here

Damaris is creating Christmas cards with Crate Paper's Snow & Cocoa collection. She's featured a paper strips background on one, and paper pieced the
Bubbles FREE cut file on the other. Such a terrific set of cards, I adore them both!

And last, but by no means least,
Stacie is sharing this fabulous Dear Lizzy Stargazer layout! She has used all the barcode strips to back her incredible cut file background! The cut file featured is called Brush Stroke Chevron & you can download it here. LOVE this!
