For the love of ephemera

Hello there, Paper Issues friends!  Enza here with you today to show you a new layout created with the gorgeous Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Bloom collection.  If you have seen my previous layouts, you might have noticed how much I love embellishments.  Any ephemera piece that comes in a package I have to use!  Especially flowers, hearts, and tags.  Add gold glitter to that, and I'm in heaven!

I thought these two pictures of my daughter picking flowers went perfectly with the colors and the theme of the collection.







I added some mixed media to the background.  It's a very soft pink, so hard to see.





I love the contrast between the soft colors and the black tag and accents.



Here you can see some of that soft pink I mentioned above.  I used the packaging technique to spread the paint all over the central part of the layout.  Some gold splashes finished off the page.
