Take Five Tuesday! - February Challenge

Hello PI friends, it's Mary Ann here with February's Take Five challenge!! The challenge is open to everyone, and is for the scrapbooker, card maker, pocket pager, and even off the page project makers too. If you are a paper crafter, this challenge is for you! In case you're new to Take 5, here's how it works, I give you a list of items to use as inspiration and starting point for your project. From that list, you pick 5 items to use on your project. You can combine your own ideas too, but to play along you must use at least 5 items from the list. You could win a gift card to the Paper Issues store!!

Here's this month's inspiration list:
1. the color red
2. the color pink
3. the color turquoise or teal
4. three photos
5. a heart
6. patterned paper
7. a sticker
8. a tag
9. a stamp
10. cardstock
11. foam dots or squares etc. anything to give dimension
12. an arrow
13. ink, mist or paint
14. something gold
15. wood grain (this can be wood veneer, patterned paper etc. anything with a wood grain!)

For my layout, the five items I chose to use are: a heart, patterned paper, a sticker, an arrow and something gold.
I used pieces from Crate Papers Hello Love collection along with a few things from Crush by We R Memory Keepers. I love how the two collections work together so well, and are perfect for current pictures or old black and whites, like this photo of my great-grandparents from 1941.

And here's some inspiration from more members of the design team...
Lisa made this darling card using the color pink, the color turquoise, patterned paper, an arrow and something gold. What a great card for Valentine's day, or just to say hello!

Cassie's layout is bright and full of beautiful colors, don't you just love all the layering she did! Her 5 items are a heart, wood grain, the color turquoise, an arrow and mist.

This layout from Enza uses cardstock, hearts, gold, mist and stickers. Check out those hand stitched hearts!!

Danielle's layout has a mix of pink, red, teal, 3 photos and patterned paper. What a great way to showcase three photos on a layout!

And last, but surely not least is this fun layout from Janet, celebrating the milestone of passing a drivers license road test. Janet used the color red, arrows, foam dots, patterned paper, and paint.

How about giving the Take 5 challenge a try?? Each project you enter is one more chance to win a gift card to the Paper Issues store.  Link up your projects in the February Challenge Album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group and show us how creative you can be!
