Hello and happy Saturday! Jen here, and today I'm sharing the first ever Sketchy Saturday post here on the Paper Issues blog. I am so excited to be bringing you this new series! Once per month, we will post a new sketch. This month we have a scrapbook sketch for you, but next month and going forward, we will have card sketches as well!
You have until October 10 to play along and link up your project for a chance to win a $10 gift card to the Paper Issues shop. We'll post winners on Saturday October 11. So let's get to it!
Kelly Purkey for Basic Grey collection - Second City which is available in the shop now! Even though this is technically a travel themed line, I used it for a different purpose and it worked perfectly. I love the bold colors in this collection.
Shannon Morgan! I am totally loving how she used mist on this one. Very subtle but makes a great addition to the page. And look at those layers underneath the photos! Just awesome.
Dona Howe. What a great page! And that title work - so creative. I need to remember to scrap these funny quotes from my little ones too. She also used some great Pinkfresh Studio goodies!
Toni From. For the left side of her spread she used the sketch. For the right side, a sweet note from her daughter. Yet another reminder to scrap those little moments from our kiddos! She used the Studio Calico gold star vellum on her page as well as the Crate Paper Notes & Things frames.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a chance to link up your project for a chance to win a $10 gift card from the shop. Here at Paper Issues, we are super excited for these new and exciting changes to the blog. Stay tuned next Saturday for the winner....and in 2 weeks, another challenge -- this time with a cut file!
Have a great weekend!
