New Issue: You're Sew Cute, You Keep Me In Stitches with May Arts Ribbon

Welcome to our new linky party, You're Sew Cute, You Keep Me In Stitches, sponsored by May Arts Ribbon. Don't go getting all tangled up in your ribbon and twine stash, because you'll need your hands free so you can link up to this issue (see below for ideas). But first, let's take a look at the wonderful altered projects the design team created with the ribbon sent to them by May Arts.

Ribbon and other fibers may be in the spotlight, but as always we have other ideas to get you thinking about what to link up. :)
  • Show us your mad sewing skills. Put the pedal to the metal and break out your sewing machine or stitch by hand.
  • Add floss, thread, twine or ribbon to your project. You can tie it in a knot, you can tie it in a bow or you can use it in some other creative way.
  • Go through your stash of fabrics and use a scrap or two...
  • Kids are notorious for telling funny jokes and saying cute things. Document the funny things kids say.
  • What says "cute" to you? Is it baby animals? Sweet! Babies? Awwww! Whatever it is, we'd love to see! Maybe you have some cute woodland animal stickers you could use as embellishments.
  • Use a couple of buttons on your project.
  • Tell us what keeps you in stitches and makes you laugh. Is it a funny movie, a comedy show or favorite comedian?
  • Use May Arts ribbon.

    Wonderful work by everyone. I was working out a project in my head as I read the instructions but when I got to the, "use May Arts Ribbon" my brain came to a screeching halt, sadly no May Arts Ribbon to use and no time to order a spool or two before the contest ends. I have about 40 or so spools of ribbon but not a 1 says, "May Arts" on it. Sigh...............

      Hi Sue! You do not have to use May Arts ribbon. They are the prize sponsor. You can use any ribbon!
