Let's start out with their new winter line Timbergrove! This collection is awesome with its frosty colors - it was perfect for a boy layout!
Before I get into the details of the layouts, check out the background paper! We have this new woodgrain cardstock in the shop in 2 colors, this is the Tinaldo Kraft Color and the other is a much darker brown but they are both stunning and a must have!
Moving on to the construction of the layout! First was creating a few back ground elements with some doily dies (a little bit of a girly touch to a boy layout), I used the grey snow flake from the Herringbone paper and the soft grid from the Powder paper.
I wanted to add a little sparkle in spots to this layout so I reached for my Christmas Love Stamp Set from Alison Kreft! This stamp set is meant for Christmas but I have found so many other uses for it! I proved that here with the start stamp, these little silver embossed stars add just the right sparkle to the layout!
I knew I wanted to construct some depth on this layout and the snowflakes were just the thing! I used both the Powder and Play Day paper to make 2 different snowflakes and then stacked them with pop dots. The middle of the snowflake needed a little something so I went for the glitter star burst from Heidi Swapp.
I love how many options Fancy Pants gives you for embellishments with each of their collections. I used several of the Tape Stickers under my photo and at the top of the layout and I used bits and pieces from the 4x6 Label Stickers sheet - I love these little sheets and they are only 99 cents! I needed to add my title and I knew exactly what it had to be: Boys Fist Bump! When shooting this photo the photographer had asked my son to give his father a kiss on the check and he said 'boys fist bump'! The Mint Alpha Stickers from the Timbergrove collections were perfect for my title!
Before I go I have a few quick Valentines Day Cards to share using the Be Loved collection from Fancy Pants!
This first card uses the Old Flame paper for its polkadot background and using the new 6x6 pack of Adhesive Backed Cork that I ran through my Big Shot with some heart dies. I was able to add those adorable hearts to the card! I am in love with Cork!!!! I only needed a few pieces from the Be Loved Ephemera Die Cuts pack to complete this card!
This second card was just as easy as the first! I love the Sweetness paper as the background on this card and its topped off with a pennant from the Love Letter paper and a few more bits from the Be Loved Ephemera Die Cuts pack!
This was a Fancy Pants overload post but I just had to show you both the Timbergrove and Be Loved Collections, I love them both!!!! You can pick up both collections (and more) in the Paper Issues shop! Remember to use the discount code below!
